Job de Raves: reconciling partygoers and landowners
Job de Raves is an online platform dedicated to Free Party organizers and landowners. The idea? That party-goers can perform minor services for landowners in exchange for permission to use their land for a rave.
Planting, harvesting and maintaining crops or livestock, grounds maintenance or miscellaneous repairs... The services offered are numerous and the benefits major: the risk of seizure of sound equipment is reduced, possible tensions with the owner are eased and the local residents' view of the event changes.
The Job de Raves service also offers complete anonymity. No data or messages are stored, since they do not pass through the platform.
This project has been selected as part of Design L'Expo 2024 and will be exhibited at La Cale 2 Créateurs from 24 january 2024 to 10 march 2024.

« The Free Party scene is relatively unknown outside of its high-profile media coverage. However, it harbors an untold wealth of self-organization in support of a cultural movement with a rich history.
Thanks to extensive research, Guillaume Chuquet has identified an original way of bringing together landowners and event organizers. Using a digital platform and a low-tech connected device, Job de raves acts as an intermediary to ensure a great win-win party! » Baptiste Fluzin, Responsable Pédagogique du Cycle master Media Design
