For whom?

You can apply if you have validated:

a 1st year in a design program: possible entry into 2nd year
a 2nd year: possible entry into 3rd year (in our Bachelor's degree)
a 3rd year or a Bachelor's degree: possible entry into Master's program

Your course of study must be directly related to the major you wish to enter:

Graphic design,
Space design,
Product design / industrial design,
Digital design / UX UI / multimedia

Admissions after studies in design are reserved for students who have already acquired a grounding in the same field of specialization as that targeted at L'École de design Nantes Atlantique.

In the 1st year of the Master's program in Nantes at Le Studio France
In an international Master's program in our international studios in São Paulo (Brazil) or Shanghai (China)

3. Application fees

Academic route only: €50 (non-refundable)
Apprenticeship route: no application fee

4. File review and interview

Examination of the application and invitation to an individual interview (by video or on site) if the application is accepted.

Within one week of receipt of the complete application.

5. Admission decision

Written confirmation within 48 hours

What we expect from your portfolio

A good portfolio shows your ability to :

Define a context, a problem, a design response
Illustrate your technical and creative skills
Highlight your autonomy, curiosity and ability to tell the story of your projects

Each project must contain an analysis, an approach and concrete proposals.

The Art and design preparatory class : this cultural adaptation class and opening to the different design professions has been specifically designed for French-speaking international students who wish to begin design studies in a program taught in French.
