Creation of a fresco for the Centech in Montréal

Students from the school's Studio Montréal, created a fresco for the Centech, the world's 8th best incubator.

The aim of this project, carried out in partnership with the incubator? To retrace its history and highlights (startup support programs, events, etc.), but also to convey the values of this emblematic place for technological entrepreneurship in Montréal.

Over the course of a week, the students, divided into 5 teams, came up with proposals for fresco concepts, which were presented to the entire Centech team. The proposal that received the most votes was then realized by the students themselves on the incubator's premises, with muralist Alice Demée. The students were thus able to follow the entire project (concept proposal, choice of materials, realization of the mural and final delivery to the partner...).

Many thanks to all the Master's level degree program students who took part in creating this fresco, to the entire Centech team and to the project teaching team, and congratulations to the students in the winning team!

Les étudiants ont proposé des pistes d'amélioration innovantes :

Intégration des aires de livraison dans les outils numériques des entreprises de livraison (API)
Prise en compte de l’orientation des aires de livraison
Amélioration de la communication entre commerçants et livreurs
Réduction des contenants de transport jetables grâce à des systèmes de consigne.

Ils ont vite saisi l’importance cruciale de ces rencontres pour enrichir et approfondir leur démarche créative."

Un grand merci à l’Agence de mobilité durable de Montréal pour le renouvellement de cette collaboration qui a permis aux étudiants en design du Studio Montréal d'approfondir leur compréhension des enjeux de logistique et de mobilité urbaine, et ainsi imaginer la ville de demain !
