A project in partnership with Linxens for our international students
Design as a lever for development and growth at the service of businesses
As part of the “Just Draw It” project, L'École de design Nantes Atlantique worked in 2023 on a prospective study with Linxens to think about new solutions to accompany users on private or public water quality control. Currently reserved for professionals, Linxens, a world leader in electronic components for the security and identification markets, wants to extend its solution to the general public and to new uses.
This exciting challenge invited our students in the 3rd year of DN MADE (International class), supervised by the designer Olivier Pigasse, to imagine and propose innovative and pragmatic solutions based on Linxens technology.
With this project, L'École de design Nantes Atlantique participated in proposing new levers of transformation through design to anticipate future consumer uses in a context of technological acceleration.
In this LinkedIn's article, Pierre-François Peltier-Veiler, VP Group Communication at Linxens, shares with us his experience about this project in partnership with the students:
"I am struck by their creativity, their ability to project themselves and submit iconoclastic but realistic ideas with, for many, a deep desire to make these things useful."
"By approaching L'École de design Nantes Atlantique, we wanted to focus not only on our product but also on its transformation and final use."
