NACAA, the 1st Sino-French design institute

One year ago, L'École de design Nantes Atlantique was chosen by one of China's most prestigious art and design universities, China Academy of Art (CAA) in Hangzhou, to create the 1st Sino-French design institute. Approved by the Chinese Ministry of Education, it reflects the importance of cultural and academic exchanges between the two countries.
At the start of the NACAA academic year, Eric Monnin, a specialist in the International Olympic Movement, spoke to the master and bachelor students about Paris 2024 - Organising Committee for the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the history of the Olympiades through design, posters, torches, pictograms and more.
Christian Guellerin presented his strategic vision of the designer profession to all the NACAA students.
Opera, language, fashion, heritage, sport and the Olympic Games... Master students were also able to present artistic and technological projects as part of a Design Methodology course led by Dr. Dolly Daou, who teaches design methodology combining French and Chinese 'know-how'. NACAA's students are trained as international entrepreneurs and designers with a strong local identity.
The NACAA institute trains high-level designers who will acquire strategic positions in innovation through bachelor degree programs in product, space and digital design as well as a master degree program in art and technology.
