Chiro : The concentration bubble for students
It's a fact: our intellectual performance can be affected by thermal comfort.
That's why Justin has come up with an ideal tool for optimizing students' cognitive skills and their ability to concentrate.
Chiro is a seat extension that can be attached to a chair. Composed of two fabric-covered wings, it attaches to the back of the seat by means of hooks. Designed for student environments such as university libraries, Chiro creates a comforting halo of warmth conducive to reflection.
Chiro wings can be adapted in 2 ways to suit your needs and desires. By promoting our sensitivity, Chiro shows us that we can shape our own sensations and create the ideal environment for the best possible concentration.
This project has been selected as part of Design L'Expo 2025 and will be exhibited at La Cale 2 Créateurs from January 22 to March 9, 2025.

«Against the backdrop of the energy and ecological crisis, the thermal renovation of the real estate stock is proving colossal and sometimes tricky. Rather than considering large-scale technical solutions, Justin focuses on creating a low-cost individual device. He questions how the user feels: what role does sensory perception play in the comfort of each individual? Chiro embodies an adaptable device that allows us to modulate our own thermal comfort. Justin takes an interesting and fair approach, exploring individual sensations through prototypes to be tested.» Sophie Eberhardt, Director of cycle master City Design
