Pipile
All over the world, certain factory workers are forced to relieve themselves standing on the production line. They suffer from dehydration and must wear diapers to work. This situation causes serious health problems.
Pipile toilet cubicles are easily movable within the factory. Located close to the employees, they limit their loss of productivity, a phenomenon feared by the management. Pipile contains 4 tanks that recycle and reuse the water consumed. The urine, collected at the source, is transformed into electrical energy by a simple bacterial battery system. In terms of environmental protection, electrical autonomy, time and money savings and employee well-being, Pipile is a great asset for companies!
This project has been selected as part of Design L'Expo 2022 and will be exhibited at La Cale 2 Créateurs from 3 December 2022 to 26 February 2023.
"
By being located in the heart of the factory, Pipile is also a tool for promoting and valorizing urine, a waste product with valuable energy potential.

"Pipile is an innovative answer to a problem that still exists in the 21st century: quick access to toilets in the manufacturing environment. By being mobile and autonomous, thanks to its microbial battery that produces electricity from employees' urine, Pipile can be installed right next to the workers. By being located in the heart of the factory, Pipile is also a tool for promoting and valorizing urine, a waste product with valuable energy potential."
