Yomfolks
Today, "junk food" causes more public health problems than the use of toxic substances such as tobacco or alcohol. Young people are particularly affected by this problem. Although many projects encourage them to eat better, they are not always receptive.
With this in mind, Héloïse created YomFolks: a project that teaches young people to cook healthy, plant-based meals. The experience unfolds in two stages:
- participants pick their own local vegetables and wild plants in gardens and greenhouses;
- they learn how to cook and make the most of these fresh products with the help of a chef.
A holistic project, YomFolks educates a community of young people to eat a healthy, living diet.
This project has been selected as part of Design L'Expo 2022 and will be exhibited at La Cale 2 Créateurs from 3 December 2022 to 26 February 2023.

Heloise brings food production closer to young consumers who want to be actors of change and alternatives.

"The new intermediaries in food distribution - alternatives to major distributors - are one of the levers for activating a more local, responsible and wholesome diet. Heloise brings food production closer to young consumers who want to be actors of change and alternatives. She proposes a new form of urbanity around a unique model of food distribution."
