Konekti
Illiteracy was declared a major national cause in 2013, and now its online avatar, digital illiteracy, affects over 13 million French people. The web has invaded our daily lives and leaves many digitally illiterate people on the sidelines. Faced with the complexity of online administrative procedures, they feel lost and can sometimes even lose certain rights.
This observation gave rise to the Konekti application. During her research, Coraline realized that non French speakers were particularly affected by this problem. Konekti offers them 3 tools to break the isolation caused by the foreign language:
• a first contact with facilitators;
• a learning journal;
• a web application, an essential working tool for the facilitators.
Konekti fights digital illiteracy and breaks down digital barriers
This project has been selected as part of Design L'Expo 2022 and will be exhibited at La Cale 2 Créateurs from 3 December 2022 to 26 February 2023.
"To build her project, Coraline integrated a rich network of public and associative actors."
"Digital illiteracy is a deceptively simple problem. Many users do not have access to public services because they do not master the codes of digital technology. It is a tool that can be discriminating. To build her project, Coraline integrated a rich network of public and associative actors. She was thus able to go beyond the usual misconceptions by working on 3 axes: access to existing digital support services; the creation of collaborative tools to understand digital culture; the design of coordination tools for trainers."
