What is a DN MADE ?
The DN MADE, National Diploma in Fine Arts, Crafts and Design is a state-controlled degree and leads to the award of an Undergraduate Diploma after three years of studies.
Depending on the speciality, holders of DN MADE can work as design assistants in a design studio, in agencies, in SME/SMIs, work as freelancers or access a job as a craftsman-designer mastering advanced techniques.
DN MADE promotes links between design/creation and production/manufacturing. Based on a common teaching base, training is built around project dynamics.
DN MADE offered by L’École de design Nantes Atlantique
L’École de design Nantes Atlantique offers 4 DN MADE programs organized over three years. The first two years are entirely taught in French, therefore students holding a high school diploma and a French level B2 may join the first year.

A 3rd year in an international class
It is possible to join the 3rd year of one of these 4 DN MADE programs in an international class.
The 3rd year of the DN MADE (Bachelor's level degree) is taught in English, for French and international students who have completed a minimum of two years in Space Design, Interior Design, product Design, fashion design, Digital design or UI/UX Design.

3rd year of DN MADE (Bachelor's degree)
One-year in an international class to validate the DN MADE
Within the DN MADE Digital Media Design, the digital designer is involved in the various phases of the design of a digital interactive product or service.
The 3rd year of the DN MADE Circular Fashion Design program offers students the chance to design and produce textiles, soft materials, textures, patterns and colours related to all areas of design.
The DN MADE Retail & Interior Design program proposes a specialization in the design of spaces in all fields, through projects concerning housing commercial spaces, work or leisure spaces.
This program offers a specialization in the fields of industrial design. From the industrial expertise, the design of products made to serve the users, their environment and their expectations.
